In keeping with his wide operatic repertoire, Jeff Stewart has performed an extremely wide range of concert repertoire.

He has performed Oratoria as far field as Beijing where he sang The Swan in Carmina Burana, and California, where he sang in concerts to mark the bi-centenary of the Mission St. Louis Rey.

He has sung the arias in the in Bach’s St. Matthew passion, under Andrew Manze in Finland and also in Coventry Cathedral, and the St. John Passion Arias in Guildford Cathedral.

Jeff has performed most of the core Oratorio repertoire, including the Creation in Paris, Elijah in Brussels, as well as numerous appearance as the tenor soloist in Messiah, Verdi’s Requiem, Rossini’s Petite Messe Solenelle, and Puccini’s Messa di Gloria to name but a few. Particular favourites are Verdi’s Requiem and Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius.

Jeff also loves to appear in recitals and has given critically acclaimed performances of Schumann’s Dichterliebe.

Jeff will be singing the tenor role in Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius in Johannesburg and Cape Town this autumn.
